A little information about me...

Mrs. Mann's Poetry Corner

I am a teacher in Washington state. I have taught preschool through high school. Currently I am attending classes at WSU for my Master's in Literacy. My husband and I have three children, a 6th grade daughter, a 4th grade son and a three-year-old son.

I was born in California but grew up in various places around the world. I have lived in South Africa, England, Montana, California, Oklahoma and Washington.

I enjoy working with children, teaching children and watching children learn. I hope to pass my love of reading and poetry on to my students. Sometimes I get frustrated when a lesson doesn't go as well as I had planned, but I learn from it and become a better teacher.
