Multicultural Poetry
Each classroom has students with diverse backgrounds and cultural heritage. It is important to recognize and embrace the uniqueness of the cultures represented in your classroom. One way to do this is to incorporate part of each student's culture into the curriculum. Poetry can tell a lot about the beliefs or feelings within a culture. Bringing multicultural poetry into the classroom can enhance lessons and make children aware of different cultural perspectives.
